Every organization has a "soul" which is the very purpose of the firm. We represent this aspect by "Compass" which always points to the North. Like Compass, the organization must be steadfast in its purpose. In most organizations, the purpose may get diluted over time.
There is a well-known story about the railroad companies in the US in the early 1900s that misunderstood themselves as being in the railroad industry rather than in the transportation business. This pertinent question must be asked periodically in companies to anchor their purpose.
Once the firm's purpose is defined well, it needs to transform to meet the changing dynamics of the market. We represent this by "Met", a short form for Metamorphosis. Customers' changing tastes, cost pressures, technology changes, and regulatory regimes demand change. The organization would have to respond to these market forces by rapidly transforming itself.

Mohandoss has been Founder & CEO of a boutique consulting firm called CompassMet Consulting LLP since 2019.
Mohan has spent 32 years in the corporate world before this venture. He has spent the last 12 years at Fidelity Investments and was based out of India and US offices. He has played various leadership roles across technology, site management, CAO functions, and global practice for AI & Automation. Mohan spent 20 years, before Fidelity, in business roles covering Asian markets for technology firms with the longest stint at Sun Microsystems.
